El Celler Restaurant

Main Dinning Room

Challenge: The main room is dominated by a vaulted ceiling that caused acoustic reverberation problems during service.

Solution: We proposed a design which integrated into the aesthetics of the space and at the same time provided a consistent meaning with the restaurant’s philosophy. We chose cork as the coating material, due to its proximity origin, its association with the wine sector and its chromatic integration with the rustic stone walls.
